Healey Dell Tea Rooms is holding a 1940's War Day event for families and the public on Sunday 28 April.

Step back in time and experience the 'Keep Calm and Drink Tea' wartime spirit at Rochdale's own World War 2 Munitions Filling Factory.

Throughout the day you can:

  • Look around the range of military vehicles on display
  • Listen to Maria Manchester the Forces Sweetheart, presenting a tribute to the 1940s sing along songs
  • Dress up in your finest war time outfit
  • Take a guided tour
  • Partake in family fun and adventure with Spodden Valley Explorers
  • Enjoy fine food
  • Keep calm and drink tea
