Our next concert (Summer 2019) will be held on Saturday 13th July - starting at 7.30pm - at St Aidan's Church, Manchester Road in Rochdale.

This concert is a vibrant and dynamic collection of music from Vivaldi's Four Seasons to contemporary composer Bayliss. The programme will include:

  • ​Colin Bayliss: Concerto Grosso e Satirico (UK premiere)
  • Vivaldi: Concerto no. 2 in G minor ('Summer') from 'The Four Seasons'
  • Purcell: Suite from 'Abdelazer'
  • J S Bach: Air 'on a G String' from Suite No. 3 in D major
  • Geminiani: Concerto Grosso no. 10 in F major ('after Corelli')
  • Grieg: Holberg Suite

​The concert will be conducted by our regular conductor, Michael Dow and our violin soloist will be our leader, Poppy Weatherall.

​Tickets will be available on the door for £9 / £7 for concessions, and are also available online from EventBrite on the link below.

Entry fee: £9 Adults / £7 Concessions (pay on the door)
