Warrington was one the largest glass manufacturing and crystal engraving centres in the 18th and 19th centuries, producing the exquisite and spectacular ‘Prince of Wales’ service in 1806-10.
David Willars is co-Chair of the Glass Association and recently spoke to the Antiques Society on Manchester Decorative Glass Industry.
Coffee and tea is available at the meeting. Annual membership is £27.50. Visitors are very welcome at a fee of £5 per visit.
