The Wheatsheaf Shopping Centre presents 'The Dinosaurs Are Coming' on Saturday 27 July, 11am - 3pm.

The day will include:

  • Ranger Rob with live reptiles and amphibians (Come along to have an interactive look at the ancient creatures)
  • Go on a dino footprint hunt around the shops, to win a prize and collect sweet treats
  • Story Telling with Can O’ Worms
  • Dinosaur themed face painting
  • Learn more about the dippy tour with our dino experts
  • Meet the Knitty gritty group and make your own knitted bee
  • Arts and crafts: Make your own dino footprints and visit The Wheatsheaf Craft Centre craft market

All performances will be on the first floor of the centre and will begin from 11.30am:

  • 11.30am Street Theatre and live performance
  • 12noon Carer's Choir live performance
  • 12.30pm Street Theatre and live performance
  • 1pm Crompton Morris Dancers summer performance
  • 1.30pm Street Theatre and live performance
  • 2pm Turners Dance Studios live performance
  • 2.20pm Live performance
