In line with Government advice regarding non-essential social gatherings, many events in these listings have been cancelled or postponed. We are working to update individual listings as organisers or groups inform us of cancellations/postponements, so events may be listed here that are no longer going ahead. Please contact event organisers directly with any enquiries.

Demesne Community Centre
Langley Writers is a group of enthusiastic local writers who write individually and collectively for pleasure and wellbeing, and share their work with others through performance and publishing.
We have competent facilitators within the group and we also invite guests. Some who’ve worked with us have been James Nash, Joy France, Rosie Garland, Tony (Longfella) Walsh, Anjum Malik and Craig Bradley.
Join us for an opportunity to share ideas and write with other local writers, and occasionally enjoy facilitated sessions by established guests.
All meetings are free of charge and brews and biscuits are provided.
Langley Writers meet at Demesne Community Centre on the third Thursday of every month between 2.00pm and 4.00pm.
New members or visitors are always welcome.
Entry fee: Free
