Rising from the ashes... Milnrow Cricket Club's annual bonfire is back! Join us on Saturday 2 November for a bonfire and firework spectacular.

Gates open 6pm, bonfire will be lit at 7pm and fireworks show is at 9pm.

Food, including a hog roast, and refreshments will be available.

For various reasons the club has not held the bonfire for around 20 years and the village has now been left with no community bonfire, until now. It’s going to be a real community effort with support from various voluntary groups such as the 1st Milnrow Cub pack, Milnrow Tennis Club and Milnrow & Newhey Street Watch.

We’ve managed to secure the services of one of the country’s best pyrotechnics companies - Nemisis Fireworks, who came runner up in the British Fireworks Championships in 2017 (and made the finals this year). The fireworks will be accompanied by music which promises to be a spectacular finale to the evening.

Everybody is welcome and tickets are on sale from behind the bar.

Please note - there will be no parking available (limited spaces for blue badge holders). Please travel on foot.

Entry fee: Tickets £5 Adults (16 & over) / £3 Children / £15 Family Ticket (2 adults & 2 children)
