Details:

Bury and Rochdale Care Organisation, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Group, is inviting people to a free talk and tour of a new self-care hub at Rochdale Infirmary, taking place on Thursday 28 November from 2pm to 3pm.

The self-care hub is the first of its kind in the North West and aims to improve the health and wellbeing of people through supported self-care. It brings together cancer, long term conditions and mental health services, including local charities and voluntary organisations, across the Rochdale borough.

Experts at the hub provide support to patients with social and money issues, transport, as well as improved management of their long term health conditions. It is recognised that these issues can all affect how well someone feels.

The event will give people the opportunity to find out more about the services provided, meet the staff at the hub and see for themselves how the hub works.

The talk and tour will be held on Thursday 28 November from 2 to 3pm at the self-care hub, which is in the Damson Centre, Level C, at Rochdale Infirmary.

All are welcome to attend the talk and tour event and to book your place contact Angela Greenwood on 01706 517302 or email membership@pat.nhs.uk
