Details:

NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) is holding its next Governing Body meeting on Friday 17 January 2020 and members of the public are invited to attend and note the new start time.

NHS HMR CCG holds a Governing Body meeting in public every two months. The Governing Body oversees the work of the organisation and sets its priorities and direction. From 17th January 2020, the meeting will now commence at 9.30am for one hour. The format of the meeting will remain the same and public questions are welcome at the meeting and can either be submitted through the website via the meetings pages (www.hmr.nhs.uk/meetings), or asked during the open questions slot at beginning of the meeting.

The Governing Body meeting, which will be held at Number One Riverside in Rochdale, is a meeting in public where official business is discussed and formal decisions are made about everything from policies to which health services will be commissioned.

Members of the public attending the meeting are asked to report to reception on arrival at Number One Riverside. Anyone with a disability or any additional needs and requires assistance at the meeting is asked to please inform our Corporate Affairs and Governance Manager of their requirements in advance by emailing Helenchapman@nhs.net

It is requested that anyone submitting questions in advance of the Governing Body meeting does so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences. We would also ask people who have questions to ask to arrive 15 minutes before the meeting begins, so we are able to accurately capture the question as well as contact details to ensure a full response is provided.

Among the items on the meeting agenda are updates on Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response, Assurance Framework and board members will also hear updates on the work of the various CCG committees.

The agenda and papers for the meeting, responses to previous public questions and the meeting schedule can be found on the Governing Body page of our website (linked below).
