Our speaker today is by one of our members Rae Street. Her talk is entitled 'Our Enid' - the story of Enid Stacy a forgotten woman from the end of the 19th century.
Refreshments will be served today by members of the U3A Choir Group. They will also be welcoming members at the door.
U3A (University of the Third Age) is a UK movement of retired and semi-retired people who come together to continue their educational, social and creative interests in a friendly and informal environment.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Monday in every month at 2pm in the Coach House. Admission, which includes tea/coffee and biscuits, is £1 for members and £3 for non members. The meetings feature guest speakers who cover a wide range of topics.
