Taras story:
Mark, my best friend, soul mate and husband lost his battle with Sarcoma cancer on 6 May 2018, so I am doing this both in memory of him but also to raise awareness of Sarcoma UK and vital funds.

Following Mark’s diagnosis in 2014, our world was understandably turned upside down. We had never even heard of Sarcoma before, let alone understand quite how drastically it was going to affect our lives. For those who aren't aware, Sarcoma is a rare and aggressive cancer and Mark battled the disease like a warrior. I couldn’t have been more proud to be his wife.

Heartbreakingly, it was a battle that he could not win (no matter how hard he fought) and sadly this is the case for half of the patients diagnosed with Sarcoma.

No one should have to go through what Mark went through and so I wanted to take this fantastic opportunity to raise not only vital funds but also awareness of what Sarcoma is and the incredible work that Sarcoma UK do!

Sarcoma UK are a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep their Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
