Friday 27 March 2020
10am - 4pm

Greater Manchester Fire Service Museum
Maclure Road
Rochdale
OL11 1DN

Details:

Fire museum attractions will be on show including our collection of historic firefighting artefacts from the 18th century to present day, plus home-made refreshments, souvenirs and free admission.

Come along and experience a wide variety of exhibits including vehicles.
Chat to our informative staff and try some of our delicious homemade cakes.
Wide selection of fire themed toys, collectors' models and books for sale.
Fireman Sam 'ride on' fire engine.

Weekly open days take place every Friday (except bank holidays).

Monthly (Sunday) open days are on the first Sunday in the month.

Please note - From mid-February 2020 there will be no access for visitors from the Maclure Road side of the building. Visitors are requested to make their way round to the rear of the site (Richard Street) where the rear gate will be in operation as previously. Please be aware that this gate is also being used by our building contractors accessing the construction site, so do take care as you enter or leave.

Unfortunately, there will be no visitor parking during the period of construction, with the exception of disabled badge holders and coaches. We apologise for any inconvenience during this period but can promise a wonderful new fire museum attraction at the end of everything.

Entry fee: Free
