Details:

The Canal & River Trust charity is inviting children and adults to unlock a new hobby by joining a free ‘Let’s Fish!’ taster session.

The angling events include free one-to-one tuition from licensed coaches, and run from May to October in Rochdale and Oldham, along Rochdale Canal and Healey Dell.

Supported by local angling clubs (Rochdale Walton AS), the one hour learn-to-fish taster sessions encourage people to experience the health and wellbeing benefits of fishing on their local waterways. All equipment, such as fishing tackle, bait, a rod licence and fishing permit, are provided free on the day.

All you need to do is book in and turn up on the day.

Click the link below to book a slot for the session on Saturday 29 May.

Please book one time slot per person and please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot on the day.

Sessions are completely free and are aimed at anyone over the age of six.
