Details:
The BAME Women's Support Group at Rochdale Mind provides a safe space to discuss stigma of mental health and their experiences of mental health. The group meets language, cultural and religious needs and is delivered in Urdu/Punjabi and Kashmiri languages.
The support offered is via discussions, information sessions, peer support and wellbeing activities. The topics covered range from Anxiety & Depression, five ways to wellbeing, exercise, confidence and self-esteem, and various wellbeing activities.
This is a 12 week support group - running from Thursday 1 July to Thursday 23 September - over 1 hours and 30 minutes each week. The group size is up to 12 participants.
