Details:

This is a two part session - the second session is on 22 September.

First Session
We will be having a chat about the materials and how we can use the materials in our designs. We will also talk about what we might like to put as our design and use some prompts supplied by Creative Health to work from. Then we will do some sketches. Once you are happy with your design, we will use Gutta, a type of acrylic, to paint the design on to a large piece of silk. Once that is completed, we will leave it to dry. I will then take them home and iron them and leave them to set.

Second Session
During the second week we can use the special inks to paint your design on to your piece of silk. Once the silk and PVA are dry, we can attach them to a pole and either place them in the park or you can take them home.

What will I need?
For these sessions we advise you to order your material from Creative Health and Well-Being so we can be certain you have the right materials. If you do want to bring your own materials, then please get in touch and we will let you know what you what to bring.

Due to Covid restrictions we cannot share materials between each other so please bring more than you need. If you change your mind about bringing your own materials – that’s okay, you can use ours and pay us on the day

Entry fee: £10 full ticket £5 if you are bringing your own materials
