Wednesday Art Group - Quilling

20 October 2021

Wednesday 20 October 2021
11.30am

Touchstones Gallery Rochdale
The Esplanade
Rochdale
OL16 1AQ

Details:

We will have a look at some examples of quilling, and we will show you how to use the quilling tool – a metal pole with a slot in. We will then make our pictures. I will give you the option of paper or postcards, blank cards as you may want to create something you can use later to give to someone. Quilling is very relaxing and therapeutic so be prepared to really chill out!

If you are bringing your own materials then please bring some paper strips – you can buy them pre-cut in lots of colours and a surface to stick them on to either strong paper or card or a postcard. You will also need some PVA glue, a quilling tool and paintbrush.

Due to Covid restrictions we cannot share materials between each other so please bring more than you need. If you change your mind about bringing your own materials – that’s okay, you can use ours and pay us on the day.

Entry fee: £9 for full ticket or £5 if you bring your own materials
