Wednesday Art Group - Pen and Ink Street Scene

27 October 2021

Wednesday 27 October 2021
11.30am

Touchstones Gallery Rochdale
The Esplanade
Rochdale
OL16 1AQ

Details:

We will have a look at some paintings of street scenes by other artists in different styles. Creative Health will supply some pictures of street scenes from Rochdale but if you would like to bring your own scene to paint then please do.

We will be using lots of different materials, pens, pencils, and inks on paper. We can draw while we talk about what it is we want to capture in the picture; it may be the feeling of a busy street, or maybe it’s the weather and how it makes the people look, or maybe you want to concentrate on the buildings? The drawings will be on Bristol card which is great for this type of exercise.

If you are bringing your own materials then please bring some paper, drawing and painting materials or you can use any medium you would like to bring instead.

Due to Covid restrictions we cannot share materials between each other so please bring more than you need. If you change your mind about bringing your own materials – that’s okay, you can use ours and pay us on the day.

Entry fee: £8 for a full ticket or £5 if you bring your own materials
