Canal Wharf
Canal Street
Littleborough

Details:

Join us for a family bat walk organised by the Canal & River Trust.

The evening will commence with a short talk introducing bats and their behaviour, followed by a session on how to use a bat detector. We’ll then take a walk along the canal watching and listening for these fascinating creatures of the night!

Please wear warm clothing and sturdy footwear. Bat detectors will be provided.

These sessions are designed for adults and for children from age 7+ as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways.

Parents and guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.

Booking is essential - please visit the Eventbrite link below to secure your place. In the event of heavy rain or strong winds the event will be postponed.

Entry fee: Free, but booking is required
