Details:

Are you a business in Greater Manchester interested in creating opportunities for young people?

Are you already providing workplace opportunities for young people but interested in learning how you can do more?

Then you may be interested in the virtual GMCA Pledge 5 event.

Taking place on 21 October from 3pm to 5pm, you will have the opportunity to understand the challenges facing young people, hear how you can get involved, and pledge your support.

This session aims to help businesses in Greater Manchester understand the challenges facing young people and how they can support them.

Guest speakers include:

  • Andy Burnham - Mayor of Greater Manchester
  • Diane Modahl - Olympian and Commonwealth Games Gold medallist and Chair of the Youth Task Force
  • Dr Robina Shah - Chief Ambassador to Mayor Andy Burnham's Meet Your Future & Bridge GM and Deputy Lieutenant Greater Manchester

We’ll also be joined by a number of the city-region's biggest employers to share insight into the work they've done to provide opportunities to young people across Greater Manchester.
