On the 2nd November there will be a service of Remembrance and Thanksgiving at St Chad's Church, Rochdale from 7pm.

We will be remembering all those that sadly passed due to Covid-19 and thanking those that cared for loved ones during this time.

The service will be lead by Bishop Mark Davies.

MP for Rochdale Sir Tony Lloyd and the Mayor of Rochdale, Councillor Aasim Rashid have been invited.

Rev Canon Anne Edwards will be attending to speak about her experience as a hospital chaplain during these times and Revd Matt Sanderson, a paramedic, will be leading the prayers.

There will be a display in the church to remember those who have died of coronavirus in the Rochdale borough, with each life being represented by a small white heart which has been decorated by a child from St. Peter's Church Of England Primary School and Broadfield Community Primary School.
