Details:

Don't miss out! Rochdale Science Busking Extravaganza event promises to be a day jam packed with fun-filled science challenges, live experiments, demonstrations and hands-on activities. Oh, and not forgetting the special guests... The exotic animals!

Rest assured there will be something for the whole family.

Find us under the spectacular 'Gaia' installation at Number One Riverside on Sunday 28 November, 1pm - 4pm, for a spectacle of science celebration!

Inspired by the stunning 'Gaia', Rochdale Science Initiative - in partnership with the Aspire to Inspire Communities - recruited STEM ambassadors and gave them a special mission of training local youths and adults to become science buskers.

During the training sessions, trainees tried many simple experiments that aim to engage a family audience. These intriguing demonstrations soon got the trainees thinking of how they too could demonstrate, explain the science, and challenge others to try it out. Come meet our newly trained 'science busking' ambassadors.

Along with the STEM ambassadors and the rest of the team, we have our friends; 'Wacky Jacky' of Fun Science, the 'acousatron' Steve from Noisy Toys, and Emma's Crazy Creatures joining us.

We can't wait to see you!

The event is free to attend. Further details including the full programme for the day will be available on the Rochdale Science Initiative's Facebook page (link below).
