26 November 2021

10.30am - 1pm

Littleborough Coach House
Lodge Street
Littleborough

Details:

The council’s consultation on plans to develop parts of Littleborough has been extended – and the local authority will be holding a drop-in event for the public on Friday 26 November.

The plans seek to improve the area, particularly around key sites like the railway station, while retaining Littleborough’s distinctive character and village feel.

The proposals include the redevelopment of brownfield land for a small number of new homes and the refurbishment of the railway arches and disused buildings for new commercial uses. The council is also looking to make improvements to the public realm and the town centre conservation area.

Paper copies of the draft Littleborough Station Area SPD are available for the public to view at:

  • Littleborough Library, Hare Hill Road, Littleborough, OL15 9HE
  • Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU

The consultation will now run until 12 midnight on Monday 6 December 2021.
