Whitworth Heritage Museum

Details:

This month our guest speaker is Stephen Gill. His topic is 'Understanding your family photographs'.

Many of us have a collection of family photographs tucked away somewhere in the house but all too often; relatives and friends pictured are not identified. Another difficulty can be the actual condition of a photograph, particularly if it has been frequently and none too sympathetically handled. Stephen helps us identify our old photographs and suggests ways of ensuring they will not deteriorate further.

Please note - Please check the venue for this meeting before you attend using the website link below or by contacting the Secretary. Some meetings will be held in the Hallfold URC schoolroom as it has a far greater capacity than the museum and we should be able to provide a socially distanced seating plan if needed at the time.

Whitworth Historical Society have a programme of monthly lectures, which are usually held on the first Wednesday in every month, between the months of October and June, at 7.30pm.

Visit the link below for a list of upcoming talks/lectures.

Entry fee: Free but donations welcome
