Saturday 18 June 2022
Carnival procession starts 1pm

Milnrow

Details:

Milnrow and Newhey Carnival will be back for the first ever eco friendly parade.

This year's theme will be 'celebration' so use your imagination and go wild.

They have decided to protect the environment so therefore the parade will be human, electric or steam powered with no petrol or diesel vehicles.

All the money collected will be divided 50/50 between Heartbeat and Springhill Hospice.

Activities in Milnrow Memorial Park will start from 12pm - 6pm including:

  • Funfair for all ages
  • A variety of stalls
  • Live music
  • Face painting
  • Paintball
  • Hot and cold food
  • National picnic day

The parade leaves Newhey at 1pm.

The family fun fair is in conjunction with Milnrow & Newhey Carnival and will be running in Milnrow Memorial Park from Thursday 16 June - Sunday 19 June. The fun fair is free entry. Opening times for the fair are: Thursday and Friday, 5pm - 8pm; Saturday, 11am - 8pm and Sunday, 1pm - 6pm.
