Details:

The Dale Trust is hosting a fundraising Race Night on Wednesday 1 June in the Ratcliffe Bar at the Crown Oil Arena.

There will be eight recorded races shown on the big screen, and you can bet on any horse that you like at £1 a time. Those backing the winner will share 50% of the pot. The Dale Trust's last event like this back in 2019 raised just short of £2,000 and they are hoping for a similar total this around.

Everyone is invited to this event.

They are offering supporters the chance to become a horse owner or a jockey. It costs just £10 to purchase a horse and you get to name it. You can purchase your horse online using the link below that has a form to fill out. The winning horse in each race will receive a prize.

They are also offering the chance to be the jockey of each horse. This is available for £5 and the winning jockey for each race will win a bottle of wine.

The eighth race will be auctioned off on the night.

Every penny raised both in advance and on the night will go towards the Legal Defence Fund against the ongoing legal action from Morton House.

Entry fee: Free to attend
