Details:

A new support group for men struggling with their mental health has been set up at the Star Tree Studio in Littleborough.

Directions For Men provides groups for men to come and talk about whatever it is that is affecting their mental health. We support each other through difficult times and we help each other by talking about what worked for us when we were going through difficult times.

The local group runs each Wednesday from 7pm to 8pm and is co-ordinated by Wesley Claridge who lives in Littleborough and has been given facilitator training to help other men.

Directions For Men is a community group offering a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for men aged 16 - 100 to open up as much – or as little – as they want to. When you arrive you will be greeted by a smile and handshake and the offer of a brew to help settle any nerves or anxiety you have.

We don't shine spotlights on people - what we do is called peer support. That is people with similar backgrounds and experiences looking out for each other.

Entry fee: Free
