Scaffold tours at Rochdale Town Hall which will take place on the last Friday of every month until the end of the project in Summer 2023.

This is a great opportunity for people to see the different works taking place in the building and gain an understanding of how much work has already been done to date since the restoration project which started in January 2021.

There will be a chance to see the specialist cleaning that is under way and the repairs being carried out to the delicate historic interiors and windows.

The hour long tour will involve a short safety induction, followed by a guided tour through some of the most historic ground floor rooms before going up to the Great Hall where you will be escorted up the birdcage scaffold staircase to view high level historical decorative features close up. You will be escorted by one of our Site Managers who can answer your questions about the works going on, and a member of our Safety Team to ensure your safety.

Each tour will be limited to 10 people to ensure a safe and engaging experience.
