To celebrate the launch of the Monkey Town Trail, a grand parade will take place through the town centre of Heywood. School children, people with learning disabilities and artists who collaborated to create our nine apes will be joined by marching bands, Planet of the Apes armoured tanks and a few surprises.

At the Garden Party there will be a live band, Rockstar Magic entertaining all day. Burgers and hotdogs will be available and a licensed bar available all afternoon. Top of the bill - Heywood's own star of X Factor the amazing Daniel Fox.
