DETAILS:

The Governing Body of NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) is holding its next meeting in public on Friday 21 July and members of the public are invited to attend.

Taking place at Number One Riverside 10.30am-12.30pm, the monthly Governing Body meeting is where official business is discussed and formal decisions are made about everything from policies to which health services will be commissioned.

At this month’s meeting a series of corporate policies will be decided and the Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement will be passed. The Quality, Performance, Finance and Quality Premium Reports will be discussed, and the Governing Body will hear updates from Governing Body sub-committees and partner organisations. Members of the public are also invited to put their questions to Governing Body members about how local health services are planned.

Public questions are welcome at the meeting and can either be submitted through the website on the Governing Body page, or asked during the open questions slot at beginning of the meeting.

Members of the public attending the meetings are asked to report to reception on arrival at Number One Riverside.

It is requested that anyone submitting questions in advance of the Governing Body meeting does so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences. This will allow sufficient time for the question to be picked up and processed, before the meeting takes place. We would also ask people who have questions to ask to arrive half an hour before the meeting begins, so we are able to accurately capture the question as well as contact details to ensure a full response is provided.

The agenda and papers for the meeting, responses to previous public questions and meeting schedules can also be found on the Governing Body page of our website.
