Family fun will be taking place at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service’s Training and Safety Centre on Friday 1 September.
The free open day, taking place between 11am and 4pm, will be a great experience to see first-hand what being a firefighter is like, with real life scenarios to try out.
The open day will have tours taking place throughout the day, firefighting demonstrations and emergency service vehicles.
People who attend will also be able to learn life-saving CPR, with 300 people expected to attend.
GMFRS has been hosting open days at its stations throughout the summer, with Friday’s open day expected to be the biggest.
