Who would choose to spend his or her evenings, weekends and holidays tirelessly working to bring success to our Club?
Volunteers at our club come in all shapes and sizes, but they are all the real-life saints and superheroes. Although they don’t ask to be paid for all their selfless work, expecting nothing in return, they definitely deserve our utmost respect and appreciation, which is exactly what Volunteer Appreciation Day on Saturday 14 April 2018 is all about.
The compassion and dedication of Littleborough Sports Club volunteers is truly inspiring. Our volunteers help us fulfil our mission and it is our honour to dedicate a match-day to celebrate them. Throughout the year, our loyal volunteers devoted thousands of hours; Team Coaches, Team Managers, Committee Members, Function Organisers, Grounds Maintenance, Cleaning, Painting, you name it; serving the club, and so much more.
Their efforts have truly enriched the lives of many. As true ambassadors of the club, our volunteers help “Speak Out For The Club”.
Every year, now starting on Saturday 14 April 2018, we want to dedicate a special day to recognise and celebrate the incredible and tireless efforts of you our Volunteers. This year’s event will include a Match Day special buffet and gathering for all Volunteers to enjoy recognising each volunteer for the hours they contributed in 2017 and continue to do so.
So, calling ALL volunteers; join us for a get together of like minded folk for a free pre-match drink and buffet. We look forward to seeing you!
