DETAILS:

The Governing Body of NHS Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Clinical Commissioning Group (HMR CCG) is meeting at Number One Riverside on Friday 18 May and members of the public are encouraged to attend.

This meeting, being held 10.30am-12.30pm, is where official CCG business is discussed and formal decisions are made about everything from policies to which health services will be commissioned.

Public questions are welcome and can either be submitted in advance, through the online form on the CCG’s website or asked during the open questions slot at the beginning of each meeting. We would ask people who have questions to ask at the meeting to arrive half an hour before the meeting, at 10am, so we are able to accurately capture the question as well as contact details to ensure a full response is provided. Our engagement lead will be available to discuss any other queries.

Please report to reception on arrival at Number One Riverside. It is requested that anyone submitting questions, in advance of the Governing Body meeting, does so at least 24 hours before the meeting commences. This will allow sufficient time for the question to be picked up and processed, before the meeting takes place.

The meeting takes place as follows:

Date: Friday 18 May 2018

Time: 10.30am-12.30pm

Venue: Training and Conference Suite, Number One Riverside, Smith St, Rochdale

At this meeting among the topics that Governing Body members will be discussing are the Child Obesity Action Plan and the Neighbourhood Asset Review. They will also be covering the CCG’s Business Continuity Plan and hearing updates from the Governing Body sub-committees.

The agenda and papers for the meeting, responses to previous public questions and meeting schedules can also be found on the Governing Body page of our website.

NHS HMR CCG Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place on Friday 15th June from 9.45am – 1.00pm in the training and conference suite, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU. The AGM will give the CCG the opportunity to discuss its achievements and challenges during 2017/18 and also celebrate the NHS turning 70 with the announcement of our school birthday card competition winner. Anyone wishing to attend the AGM is asked to confirm their attendance by contacting the Communications Team via email at hmrcommunications@nhs.net or by calling 01706 652853.

HMR CCG Governing Body meetings are held bi-monthly and following May’s meeting, the next one will be on Friday 20 July 2018 at Number One Riverside.
