Saint Mary in the Baum
St Mary's Gate/Toad Lane
Rochdale

DETAILS:

A music event established to support young Rochdale musicians to play a professional medium sized gig in the centre of the town.

The Co-operative Heritage Trust are working with The Baum to provide the drinks and St Mary’s Church to provide the venue.

Performing are: The Galahads, The People and Palms

Genres: Indie, Rock, Alternative and Jazz Blues inspired

The idea was the brainwave of Jordan Diggle from Rochdale who as a keen live music fan wanted to have a venue in central Rochdale to see up and coming acts for a cheap ticket price. This is a way to try to make that happen and to ensure that every service we use for the event is sourced locally in Rochdale.

We want to help Rochdale Town Centre promote cultural events and contribute to a lively, entertaining night out on the doorstep, and show young people that co-operating can be great.

Suitable for adults - under 18s to be accompanied by a responsible adult ticket holder.

Alcohol will be available at the venue.

For non-drinkers, soft drinks will be available at the Pioneers Museum on the night.

Tickets must be booked in advance and are available via the link below.

Paper tickets are also available at Kameeleon Tattoos, Middleton for £6 each.

Entry fee: Tickets £7 including booking fee
