This year's Oxford Christmas Market is going to be BIG!
Now in it's fifth year, the market is a festival of festive food and drink for the whole family.
The pub will kick things off on Friday night 5pm - 8pm with food & drinks and live music from 7pm.
The markets will be open in all their glory both Saturday & Sunday from 12pm till 8pm with a full compliment of stalls, food, drink & live music.
From sweet toothed market veterans ‘Jelly's Sweets & Treats’, to cheese fiends ‘Cat & Mouse Cheese Stall’ and ‘Dan's Fishop’ dishing out fresh seafood and oysters, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
‘Cakes by Kelly Marie’ will also be in attendance, as well as Nordic baker extraordinaire ‘Göhrt Bakery’, ‘Hearts & Flours’ who will make their market debut with homemade festive treats and chocolates to tempt us all and if you like gin (obviously you do) you will be spoiled with not one, but two incredible local craft gins… the delightful and downright delicious ‘Defiance Gin’ and newcomers ‘The Penny Gin Company’, join the market as they bring their range of fabulous flavoured small batch gins.
Ken, Jenny and Thomas Lynch bring their outstanding Serious Brewing Company to your doorstep, fantastic festive wreaths and flowery winter creations will be available from ‘Flowers by Jayne Caroline’ and perhaps most excitingly of all, the now infamous 01706 will be bringing their pop-up shop complete with one off collections.
Upping the food and drink offering this year with their new bespoke BBQ hut, The Oxford will be dishing out enormous smoked brokwurst, footlong bratwursts, truffle fries, hefty roast turkey & stuffing barms and mini doughnuts drowned in hot chocolate sauce.
Alongside this will be the brand-new bar hut stocked full of mulled wine, hot apple, brandy laced hot chocolate, passionfruit and cinnamon cider and (finally) actual beer on draft outside! And the Ted Bunnell beer tent is back again, now with even more space for getting your drink on outside, especially to the sounds of Joe Dunne’s now legendary Christmas music set.
