HMR CCG’s Primary Care Commissioning Committee Meeting is on Friday 10 May. Held quarterly, these meetings are where official business is discussed and formal decisions are made about the commissioning of GP services in the Rochdale borough.

At the May meeting the agenda will include updates on primary care finance; GP contracts 2019/20; and the Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Primary Care Academy. Transformation of health and social care in the Rochdale borough will also be discussed.

Also taking place this month is the CCG’s Governing Body meeting and this will be held at Rochdale Town Hall in a change from its usual venue, Number One Riverside. The bi-monthly Governing Body meetings are where official business is discussed and formal decisions are made about everything from policies to which health services will be commissioned.

At this meeting the appointment of the HMR CCG Chair 2019-2022, Dr Chris Duffy will be ratified. CCG business including finance and the annual report are on the agenda, and board members will also hear updates on the work of various CCG committees.
