Event: Ingeus Personal Support Day in Rochdale to help local residents save hundreds on household bills

People living in Rochdale will be able to get free advice on lowering their energy bills – alongside tips on managing finance, health and wellbeing – at this year’s Ingeus Personal Support Day.

The purpose of the free event is to help residents of Rochdale save money and access support on their household bills. Friendly experts from uSwitch.com will be on hand to answer questions about switching suppliers and provide energy saving advice.

Households in Rochdale are paying as much as £1,249 a year on average for their gas and electricity but they could save up to £400 a year by switching provider.

Friendly experts from uSwitch.com will be on hand to help residents reduce and manage their household energy bills, answer questions about how to switch energy supplier and provide energy saving advice.

Jean Graham, uSwitch.com Senior Community Engagement Manager, says: “I’m really looking forward to attending the Ingeus Personal Support Day in Rochdale, and helping people to reduce and manage their household bills. 

“It can be a real stretch for some people to cover all their household essentials. However, there are lots of ways costs can be reduced and plenty of help available to make utility bills more manageable.  

“We’ll be on hand throughout the day to provide free advice and information about available Government schemes, support and grants. We’ll also be sharing practical tips on the small changes that can be made around the home to keep energy bills down and showing residents how easy the switching process can be.”
