Event: An introduction to: Creative Self-Care

Looking at self-care in the context of working with others.

This condensed 2 hour session will utilise tools for identifying symptoms of stress, burnout and/or compassion fatigue.

It will cover what these things are as well as what self-care means to you and how it can help.

This session invites 10 people who have been working with and supporting others to come and explore these different tools with a view of preparing for the transition into a post-covid world.

Meet our experienced practitioners who will guide you through this workshop:

Stacey Coughlin is a Community Visual Artist, Counsellor and Emotional Support Worker. Working with a number of organisations, groups and participants her practice has developed through working with a variety of age ranges in different settings on projects and one off sessions for individuals to explore their wellbeing and creativity to various medias.

Salma Khalid is a Psychological Therapist and Clinical Supervisor working in private practice and with several organisations. Salma has a background of working in the NHS and is currently also working for Early Break as a supervisor of reflective practice and at KD Grammar School where she provides a psychotherapy service to children and young people. Salma has a special interest in working across difference and culture particularly in relation to spirituality.
