If you’ve ever fancied a go at juggling or plate-spinning, Skylight Circus Arts are offering you the chance to try it for free.

Join them on Saturday 12th June for a guided walk from their HQ at St Chads Fold in Rochdale town centre to Sparth Bottoms, the site of the famous 'Rochdale Scorpion' fossil find.

There will be two walks on the day - at 10am and 1.30pm - which will be run in accordance with government guidelines in place at the time.

Part of National Lottery Open Week, have a go at juggling and plate-spinning at Skylight Circus Arts before heading out through Broadfield Park to see where local woman, Mary Lange, made her discovery in 1903. There are lots of points of interest along the way.

After heading back to Touchsotnes Museum and Gallery you can grab yourself a brew and cake at a special price, then settle in for a short film produced by Skylight featuring a much more recent fossil find... Mammoth.
