Manchester International Festival is back!
Join us in July at places and spaces across Manchester for a huge celebration of your city – with lots to do every day and night from Thursday 1 to Sunday 18 July.
There’s a packed programme, including:
- Dance on Deansgate with Boris Charmatz’s amazing Sea Change, starring the people of Greater Manchester (Thur 1 July, FREE)
- Art in the Arndale with Cephas Williams’ powerful Portrait of Black Britain (1–18 July, FREE)
- Poetry on the pavements with Poet Slash Artist bringing new art and poetry to the city streets (1–18 July, FREE)
- A 42-metre replica of Big Ben in Piccadilly Gardens thanks to Argentine pop artist Marta Minujín (1–18 July, FREE)
- Gigs from Patti Smith, Arlo Parks, Damon Albarn and the best in Manchester hip hop (7–17 July)
