This month our guest speakers are Ann & Bob Clark. They will be talking about 'Padiham - then & now'.
Almost 120 years have elapsed since the death of Queen Victoria but many of the achievements gained in engineering, manufacturing, medicine and commerce of the Victorian age remain as a legacy even today. Ann takes a look at those legacies which continue to influence our thinking and lives.

Some meetings will be held in the Hallfold URC schoolroom as it has a far greater capacity than the museum and we should be able to provide a socially distanced seating plan if needed at the time.
Whitworth Historical Society have a programme of monthly lectures, which are usually held on the first Wednesday in every month, between the months of October and June, at 7.30pm.
