Rochdale Borough Council will be raising the progress flag outside Number One Riverside, followed by refreshments inside.

Founded in 2004, this day aims to raise awareness of violence and discrimination against lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer (LGBTQ+) people to drive positive change. The day is celebrated in more than 130 countries around the world.

IDAHOBIT reminds us that there is still a long way to go until all LGBTQ+ people are free and safe from harm.
