Professor Sir David King, the former chief scientific advisor to the UK government has said “What we do in the next 3-4 years will determine the future of humanity”. 

But our leaders are ignoring this warning. After the fine words at the COP26 in November last year, the government is exploring 40 new fossil fuel projects which will drive us faster down the road to destruction.

What will you do ? Can you take responsibility to protect those you love, and the well-being of those in the communities you serve ?

We have arranged a talk at Nelson Street Church on Tuesday 6th September. Although especially aimed at Christians we stress that everyone is most welcome.

Please come to one and bring others who are active in ministry and mission. Many people in our parishes are in denial or despair. The prophetic witness of Christians is urgently needed.
