A Littleborough tea room has been ranked as one of the best bakeries in Greater Manchester.
Waterfall Tea Room & Gifts on Todmorden Road is currently ranked number 11 in the whole Greater Manchester region on TripAdvisor, and is the only bakery in Rochdale to make the list.
Waterfall was set up by Sharon Whittingham and Susan Lord in August 2016, and offers afternoon and cream teas, sandwiches and toasties, specials and cakes. Everything is homemade using local produce.
Sharon said: “It was a real surprise for us. My daughter was the one who spotted our rating and rang me; we didn’t know about it. It’s been great: we’ve gone from strength to strength since opening.”
Susan added: “We think it’s our cakes!”
The Tea Room has also been rated number 15 of 25 places to eat in Littleborough.
