A trainee solicitor has qualified into AST Hampsons' commercial department, following two years training with the firm.

Solicitor Hamza Tahir has held seats in the commercial, corporate and family law departments during his training, working with the local community and assisting businesses and investors.

Hamza said: “I am thrilled to qualify with such a prestigious local firm. I have grown up in Rochdale and aspired to work at AST Hampsons most of my life.

“Today affirms my commitment to AST Hampsons and Rochdale and I look forward to working with our clients old and new as I develop my career in the firm.”

Commenting on Hamza’s qualification, senior partner Peter Taylor said: “It is an important day for the firm. I am delighted for both Hamza and ourselves that in this challenging climate we are able to recognise the contribution and efforts of Hamza and share the celebration of his qualification and formal admittance to the roll of solicitors.

“Our team continues to go from strength to strength and we are looking forward to what the future brings with Hamza on board.

“As a fourth generation solicitor in the borough of Rochdale, I am immensely proud to see how the firm continues to develop and strives for the best in serving our clients and the local community.”
