New website for Warburton Estate Agents

Date published: 08 May 2014

Warburton Estate Agents have launched their new website with the help of Rochdale Online Web Solutions.

The website has a sophisticated, modern look and feel to it.

Scott Warburton said: “The website is absolutely spot on. It has got everything we need on it.”

Ian Kimber, Technical Director at Rochdale Online, said: “The site has a look and feel to it that follows some of the design trends that are seen today.”

The website will be integrated with the Rochdale Online property portfolio. “The site draws information from the property portal of Rochdale Online,” added Ian

The new website includes properties for sale, properties to rent, commercial properties, forms to book viewing appointments and valuations and a mortgage calculator. Site visitors can also shortlist properties.

Scott Warburton said: “It is a one stop shop for people looking for a house. Once you are on one page you can do everything from there.”

The 'responsive' website layout ensures that anyone visiting the site via tablets and smartphones, as well as desktop browsers, will have a good experience. It enables site visitors using a range of different devices to enjoy a user-friendly experience, and includes a mobile-specific menu that gives mobile users what they need.

Ian explains: "The look-and-feel and the user experience is consistent across platforms, and any form factor will deliver a good experience.

"Moreover, house hunters don't want to be printing out reams of paper, this is the 21st century and we all have smartphones so utilising those phones means we can access information instantly as and when we need it."

Staff at Warburton Estate Agents manage the properties on the site themselves via a simple to use content management system.

Ian added: "Property information is  constantly up-to-date, for example, if Warburton staff use the CMS to amend a price, that can been seen across all devices in real time."

The site is also running on an enterprise level database infrastructure so pages will load very quickly for users.

“It has a lot of great features on it and is very user friendly,” added Scott.
