Obituary: Raymond Ramsbottom

Raymond Ramsbottom aged 81 years, of Rochdale, passed away peacefully on 23rd June 2018 at Rakewood House, Carders Court, Castleton.

Beloved husband of Jean
Loving father of Karen and Janet
Dear father in law to Lee and Justin
Much loved granddad of Anthony, Aimee and Zakery
Great Granddad to Ted George.
Beloved grandfather in law to Laura and Sydney.

The family are heartbroken at the sad loss of Raymond and would like to pass on their grateful and sincere thanks to the staff at Mona Cliffe Residential Home and the Oasis Unit at Rochdale Infirmary.

The family would also wish to express special thanks to Angela and her amazing team at Rakewood House for their dedication, expertise, skill and care given to Raymond in his last few weeks, which allowed him to die with dignity.

The family are also very grateful for the support Angela and her staff gave to them to help them through this extremely difficult time.

Raymond was a man who loved life, his family and his friends until his dementia made it impossible for him.  He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

The funeral will be held at Rochdale Crematorium on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at 11:50am.
