Littleborough Civic Trust is offering for sale this 22ft narrowboat and trailer.
This is a project boat with potential to give great fun as a day boat. Its trailer means that the boat can be readily transported to all waterways, and its shallow draft would allow it to be used for exploring unfrequented sections (subject to any appropriate servicing or modification).
The boat was purchased by Littleborough Canalside Development Group, (now a sub-committee of Littleborough Civic Trust), to use as a community project with the intention of transforming it into a floating community run cafe to be located locally on the Rochdale Canal.
The boat has been primed and painted externally but after further feasability studies, the Trust is now advertising the boat for sale.
