At this year’s new Rochdale Food & Drink Festival you can have a gourmet four course dinner cooked by one of the region’s best chefs and enjoy it in the company of the man himself.
Andrew Nutter will be cooking up a magical feast for the special ‘Food Glorious Food’ evening on Saturday 24 March in the stunning surroundings of Rochdale Town Hall, the venue for the foodie festival on the same day.
The star chef and his team will be serving a special menu prepared exclusively for the evening featuring meat and vegetarian options.
There will be a complimentary drink on arrival, live musical accompaniment and you will meet Andrew after the food has been served in the luxurious Clock Tower Dining Room.

Like all great chefs, Andrew has a strong culture of using local and seasonal produce, with menus changing to make the most of them.
He has won multiple awards, including Lancashire Chef of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, and ‘Rochdale Man of the Year’.
Andrew said: “I am totally thrilled to be asked to be part of this magical festival, the team are already excited to be cooking at the Food Glorious Food dinner where we will be able to showcase some of Nutter’s signature dishes.”
Tickets are on sale priced £43 each, which includes the four course meal and welcome drink.

During the day-time the festival will be open from 10am – 6pm and entry is free.
There will be a food and drink village and more than 40 traders selling delicious dishes, fantastic street food, pop-up shops, bars and much more.
Outside there will be live music alongside mouth-watering fare from around the North West, including meaty, veggie and vegan delights, combining a mix of healthy choices and tempting treats.
There will also be plenty of conveniently-located bars selling a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
Inside the Town Hall there will be lots of stalls selling food and gifts to take home, including cheeses, chutneys, relishes, Indian street food, Caribbean cakes, muffins, artisan chocolates, black puddings, fudge and desserts.
On the ground floor of the Town Hall the elegant reception room will be transformed into a 1920s-themed bar for the day hosting a series of free workshops every hour from 11am, including ‘Wonderful Wines’, ‘The Gin Experience,’ and ‘Cocktail Making Like A Pro’.
In the festival kitchen, Jean-Christophe Novelli, Nisha Katona, Andrew Nutter and Tom McNeeney will be cooking live, with seven 40-minute demonstrations scheduled.
If you do not manage to snap up a ticket for one of the demonstrations there will be a free seating area to watch chef demonstrations on big screens and soak up the festival atmosphere.
The festival is organised by the council, together with sponsorship from The Flying Horse Hotel and The Quirky Catering Company.
