Rochdale based ecommerce business Drinks Aisle have opened their doors cash and carry style.

Located on the Royle Pennine Trading Estate as part of the Deckers Group site, they offer a large range of beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks. You can click & collect, or you can just go down and fill in an order form when you arrive. They are also offering spot deals as part of a socially distanced collection experience.

National Ecommerce Manager Richard Stansfield said, “We are really excited to be able to offer of our services to the Rochdale community. It gives us the opportunity to expand our business which up until now has been online with both local and national delivery. We know our customers want the opportunity to click and collect as they do with the Deckers’ butchery. We would like to thank the licensing team at Rochdale council who have expedited our application so that we can provide these additional services to local customers throughout the Covid crisis and the future.”

Parking bays have been socially distanced, and customers remain in their vehicles until it’s time to load the order into the boot. Any orders which haven’t been paid for in advance are paid for by card (contactless where possible) with no cash being accepted.

This is the latest initiative by all of the Decker’s businesses to navigate through the difficulties caused to the hospitality industry by the Covid 19 crisis. Between the Royal Toby @ Home collection service and the extended services being offered by the Deckers’ butchery they have been busy adapting and evolving their business to ensure they trade to the best of their abilities.
