Personal Gifts To You: Gifts for every occasion

Date published: 17 March 2014

Personal Gifts To You is an online gift company that offers a wide variety in products catering to all of your gift needs.

The company, which started in September, is a family run company run by Victoria Lees and her stepfather, Albert Hala.

The family started the company after a discussion over a family meal and after many brainstorming sessions they decided to use their expertise on their own business.

Victoria, who has worked as a buyer for many years and has worked for a gift company in the past, said: “I was made redundant so it seemed like a good time to take the opportunity. and grab the bull by its horns. Gifts are one of the most rewarding areas to work in because of the ranges it has to offer.”

Personal Gifts To You sells a variety of products for all ages. The website includes gifts for children with items including teddy bears, board games and dining sets both personalised and non personalised.

Men and women are also catered for. Gifts for women include vintage gift sets that are made locally and gifts for men include cufflinks and after dinner trivia. All handmade goods are sourced locally and within the UK, therefore adding that extra special touch to the gifts that you give.

New lines recently added by the company include Lolita handmade wine glasses and Gruffalo teddy bears. Gruffalo will be celebrating its 15 year anniversary this year. "There are various events being held within the UK focussing on this event and we are proud to be apart of it," said Victoria.

Personal Gifts To You is also one of the few online companies to launch the Kirstie Allsopp Home and Body range. A vintage inspired and fabulously designed selection of bath and body products.

The company will also be branching out for Mothers Day and expanding their product range further. As well as standard products, Victoria has expanded into the personalised gift range and has seen a rise in popularity for those goods.

“Personalised gifts are very popular and I think it’s nice to add someone’s name to something for that extra special touch, should it be a wall plaque or a token of sentiment,” said Victoria.

Variety was something of importance to Victoria when deciding on product range. She said: “Everyone is different and no two people are the same so we wanted that variety amongst our products.”

The company also recently redesigned and re-launched their website and brought in a new logo and re-branding, adding new scope to the business.

“We needed to stay on the same level as those other businesses so it was important that we made our website stand out from the crowd. Originally I had created the website myself but due to success we have been able to work with a web designer. This added success has allowed us to use social media as a way to connect with our customers via Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

The business has been operating since September and has had a successful few months. “It is nice to get feedback from other businesses and customers about what you’re doing and seeing what they think of everything. We have had a good few months and hopefully that will continue for the foreseeable future.”

Personal Gifts To You is a successful gift company all about serving the public with special gifts for every occasion.
