Step Out for Stroke, 10.30am, Queen's Park, Heywood

This family fundraising event is open to everyone, regardless of age or ability and the charity is calling on people to register now and take part alongside local stroke survivors and their families.

Kettlemania Comes To Rochdale To Fight Skin Cancer, Forever Strong Fitness and Performance

The event will consist of a 12-hour charity bootcamp at the Forever Strong fitness and performance gym, kettle-bell competitions, followed by an evening social at the Flying Racehorse.

Rigby's Guardians will once again host the Lee Rigby memorial ride starting at Rochdale Town Hall then riding through Heywood and Middleton to the cenotaph for Lee Rigby's memorial service.
